CUCSA GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2020 MASERU, LESOTHO
SECRETARY GENERAL’S REPORT 2019
- The President attendant the FASU General Assembly which was an elective year in Uganda 2019. CUCSA VP elected as the second VP and the elected President of FASU is from our region, South Africa
- Our Vice President attended THE AUSC Region 5 Conference which was held in Gaborone, Botswana on from the 09-13 July 2019. The Secretariat engaged the Region 5 office of the Africa Union Sports Council and applied for membership, still waiting for the response thereof;
- The CUCSA Secretariat was in constant consultation with Lesotho in terms of hosting the General Assembly and CUCSA Games 2020
- Held the finance and the secretariat handover meeting in Pretoria on the 6-7 February 2020. We also changed the bank signatories.

- Proposal to open an FNB account
- USSA Office support for the CUCSA Secretariat and CUCSA to contribute for the payment of the Intern where possible

- Liaison with members on CUCSA with regard to the Annual General Assembly and also encouraging members to attend.
- Engaged Malawi in terms of the hosting of the 2022 games;

- Age Limit – Executive committee proposes 27 years

- Effective participation of members – Secretariat and President tried communicating with Swaziland and Mozambique without any response, this still a challenge, Executive proposed that we write a letter to Region 5 to assist in this regard for these countries to attend the games and engage their different. Sport ministries.
- CUCSA website – we have approach a website developer (ZABRA), to look at the possibility of developing a website for CUCSA and registering the domain cucsa.org.za

Exco further recommended that member’s countries should nominate people too serve on these committees.
